HEBREW UNIVERSITY - POLONSKY DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE GENERAL HUMANITIES AND IN ASIAN AND AFRICAN STUDIES

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem - The Polonsky Scholarships for Outstanding Doctoral Candidates in the General Humanities and in Asian and African Studies (with preference for Chinese Studies)

The Faculty of Humanities at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is offering 3 four-year scholarships to outstanding doctoral candidates in the general humanities and in Asian and African Studies beginning in the 2008-2009 academic year in the total amount of $80,000 + tuition ($20,000 per year + tuition).

Applicants are requested to send six copies of the following documents: Curriculum vita, transcript, M.A. thesis abstract, M.A. thesis evaluations, research prposal (up to 500 words), two recommendation letters (to be sent to the Office of the Program for the President’s Scholarships in the Humanities).

Deadline: March 20, 2008
Notification: May 20, 2008
