Cryptologic History Symposium

The National Security Agency’s Center for Cryptologic History is sponsoring the 2007 Cryptologic History Symposium. The theme of this year’s conference is “Cryptology and Community.” A series of panels featuring distinguished academic and government historians, as well as cryptologic veterans, will consider many of the various communities that perform cryptologic activities and those that are affected by it.

The event will run from 18-19 October and will be held at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, 11100 Johns Hopkins Road, Laurel, Maryland 20723. Registration includes the conference, snacks, lunches with guest speakers, and keynote presentations including that of David Kahn.
